What is Marwell’s Little Monsters?
Marwell’s Little Monsters is our Halloween half-term event at Marwell Resort, running from 24th–31st October 2026.
Come and pick your perfect pumpkin, carve your spooky creation and, if you’re feeling brave, have a go at hitting a pumpkin with an axe! There will also be additional Halloween activities, food, drinks and treats available throughout the event.

How much does it cost?
Pick a Pumpkin & Carve With Us – £15
Includes your pumpkin and use of our carving area and equipment.
Family/Group Offer – 4 for £50
Buy four pumpkin picking and carving tickets together for just £50 — that's £12.50 each.
Pumpkin Axe Throwing – £4.95
Includes 5 axe throws at our pumpkin target.
General Admission – £1 per person
If you're coming along but don't have a pumpkin picking and carving ticket, admission is just £1.
Under 2s enter FREE.
Additional activities, food and drinks are charged separately.
Do I need to pay general admission if I have a pumpkin carving ticket?
No. General admission is included with every Pick a Pumpkin & Carve With Us ticket, so you won't need to pay the additional £1 entry fee.
Do adults need a ticket?
Adults who are accompanying children but aren't picking and carving their own pumpkin just pay the £1 general admission charge.
If an adult would like to pick and carve their own pumpkin, they can purchase a £15 pumpkin ticket too — Little Monsters isn't just for the kids!
Do I need to book in advance?
We strongly recommend booking your Pick a Pumpkin & Carve With Us tickets in advance, particularly if you're visiting at a popular time.
Spaces and pumpkins are limited, and advance booking guarantees your booked carving space.
Is the pumpkin included in the £15 ticket?
Yes! Choose your pumpkin from our pumpkin patch and bring it over to the carving area, where you can turn it into your Halloween masterpiece.
Can I take my pumpkin home?
Of course! Once you've finished carving your pumpkin, it's yours to take home.
What do we need to bring for pumpkin carving?
Just yourselves and some suitably messy clothes!
Pumpkins and the equipment needed for carving will be provided. Children must be supervised by a responsible adult while taking part.
What is pumpkin axe throwing?
Exactly what it sounds like!
For £4.95, you'll get 5 axe throws to see if you can hit one of our pumpkin targets.
The activity is supervised, and all participants must follow the instructions and safety rules given by our activity team.
Is there an age limit for axe throwing?
Yes, you’ll need to be 8 years +.
For safety, participation is subject to the judgement of our activity instructors. Anyone taking part must be able to understand and follow the safety instructions provided. Absolutely no alcohol is to be consumed prior to this activity.
Can we come without booking a pumpkin?
Yes! You're very welcome to come along and enjoy the atmosphere, food, drinks and any additional activities without purchasing a pumpkin carving ticket.
General admission is £1 per person, with under 2s free.
What other activities will there be?
Alongside pumpkin picking, carving and axe throwing, we'll have additional Little Monsters activities available during the event.
These will include cookie decorating, face painting, apple bobbing, woodland trail walk, hook-a-pumpkin and more!
Some additional activities carry a small extra charge and availability may vary.
Is cookie decorating included with the pumpkin ticket?
No. Cookie decorating is a separate optional activity costing £3 per cookie.
That means you can choose which extras you'd like to do when you visit rather than having them built into your pumpkin ticket.
Will there be food and drinks available?
Yes.
Food, snacks, Halloween treats, hot and cold drinks will be available, and our fully licensed bar will also be open.
Food offerings may vary throughout the week, so keep an eye on Marwell Resort's social media pages for updates.
Can we stay for food and drinks after we've finished our activities?
Absolutely. Once you’ve finished in the Little Monsters arena, feel free to explore our site and enjoy a round of Crazy Golf, Soft Play, drinks at the official bar, wood - fire Pizza (on Saturday and Wednesday after 4pm), woodland walk and meadow walk.
Grab something to eat, get a drink and enjoy the Halloween atmosphere at Marwell Resort.
Is Little Monsters suitable for young children?
Yes. Little Monsters is a family Halloween event, and children of different ages can enjoy pumpkin picking, carving and the other activities available.
Individual activities may have their own age or safety restrictions.
Do children need to be supervised?
Yes. Children remain the responsibility of their accompanying adult at all times while visiting Marwell Resort.
Some activities also require direct adult supervision.
What should we wear?
Little Monsters takes place partly outdoors, and October weather can be unpredictable!
We recommend weather-appropriate clothing and sensible footwear. Pumpkin picking and carving can also get messy, so we'd avoid wearing your best clothes.
What happens if it rains?
A bit of October weather won't scare our Little Monsters!
The event will continue in normal autumn weather, although individual outdoor activities may occasionally need to be paused or changed if conditions become unsafe.
Please check Marwell Resort's social media channels before travelling if severe weather is forecast.
Is there parking?
Yes. Free parking is available at Marwell Resort for event visitors.
Please follow the signs and instructions from our traffic management team when you arrive.
Is it wheelchair accessible?
Little Monsters is an outdoor countryside event, and some areas have uneven or natural ground.
We make every effort to keep the event as accessible as possible; however, due to the nature of the site, some areas and activities may be more difficult to access, particularly in wet or muddy conditions.
If you have specific accessibility requirements, please contact us before your visit and our team will be happy to advise and help you plan your day.

Can I bring my dog?
At Marwell Resort we love dogs but the Little Monsters arena isn’t suitable for our four legged friends so please leave them at home.
Can I buy additional pumpkins?
Absolutely! We have a small stall in the area where you may purchase a pumpkin to take away.
Are tickets refundable?
Sorry no. Due to the nature of the event we cannot refund tickets but you will be offered “ticket protection” insurance from our ticket partner so you may consider opting in for peace of mind.
Please check your booking carefully before completing your purchase.
